- Educate: We invest time to educate potential customers about climate change, financial considerations, and regulatory compliance requirements. Through this process we are able to build a long term relationship, which is required for success of these project types.
- Evaluate: Determine the physical feasibility of the project through an on-site tour with the land owner and satellite imagery. Identify all stakeholders and site drivers and create a financial prospectus.
- Elaborate: Apply the best standard set and prepare all the project design documentation to that standard. Inclusive of community co-benefits that go beyond the standard to achieve unique positive examples of climate change abatement.
- Engage: KDGI will close a purchase agreement with a qualified buyer, broker or finance company with our knowledge of the industry we can get the best deal for our local customers.
- Entertain: Prepare all legal contracts and pursue all required agreements to conclusion, including regulatory compliance assurance.
- Execute: Implement the project with local partners, including the resources for the long term management of the land and forests.
- Exercise: Validate the generation of the carbon credits, register and retire them.
- Exchange Finalize the transfer of funds from the sale to all stakeholders.
We enable our customers to make an educated decision about long term land use, confidently. Typically the cost of this work is covered through the purchase of carbon credits from Keep Delaware Green Inc. and our partners for individuals, governments and socially responsible companies. These efforts are win-win for all stakeholders, including employment opportunities for local citizens.
